Mrs. Nicole Mitchell, FNP-C is a board certified Nurse Practitioner that brings several years of experience and a strong academic background. She graduated with honors from Hampton University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing at Coppin State University graduating with Cum Laude honors.

Mrs. Mitchell served as an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Manager at Shady Grove Medical Center in Maryland. She has also worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at several Maryland clinics including screening for military veteran disability exams. In service to the community, she has provided primary and preventative care services for the uninsured and under-insured population of Montgomery County in the Mobile Medical Care program. She also volunteers at FutureLink, a non-profit organization, where she mentors students attending Montgomery College who are interested in the health field.

 

Patients are now looking for alternative options without the use of prescription medications to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. For this reason, Nicole established Halo Wellness Clinic.  Halo Wellness Clinic will provide patients with one-on-one high quality and comprehensive care. Halo Wellness Clinic will serve patients in the Maryland area from Pediatrics 11 years - to the elderly.

Nicole is affiliated with Maryland Nursing Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Medical Marijuana Physicians Association (AMMPA), Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC), Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society, and Chi Eta Phi Sorority

On her free time, she is active within her church having served on the health and wellness committee and singing in the choir. She is a devoted wife and mother of three children. She enjoys all aspects of health and wellness. To be whole is the goal.
